When you’re feeling sad and low… Build a GIANT GROTTO!
Lockdown 2 got us all in a bit of a funk here at LCD headquarters. We were just getting back into the swing of things after Lockdown OG and it hit us like a truck. Whilst we couldn’t entertain our lovely brides, we decided to use our shop space and our spare time to build an incredible Christmassy grotto that we could go and sit in when things were getting us down! Then we thought… how much fun would it be to do a shoot featuring our dresses! As we have had to be DIY’ing a lot recently due to social distancing, we had everything we needed to put together an amazing shoot all by ourselves. Our amazing founder Lucy has been taking photography courses, and our head seamstress (Also called Lucy!) got to work on all of the amazing decorations. Our backdrop is made from wrapping paper and we found a PINK CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!
We all slowly lost our minds during this shoot and there were LOTS of outtakes! We had so much fun - christmas music was blasting in the background and we went a bit too far with the glitter as well! Turns out it is very tricky to take semi-serious photos when Christmas has vomited all around you.
We chose our dresses carefully so that they would fit in with our crazy christmas theme! These are the dresses featured:
