Beautiful Laura picked our Ziggy Stardust dress. We changed the design by giving it a huge skirt with an epic train. The skirt was dip dyed in a frosty grey. It looks so amazing with her bridesmaid dresses. Laura was the perfect LCD bride <3 It was a pleasure meeting her as she was so lovely <3 ...and she brought us chocolate so that ticks all the boxes :D

When we got engaged I started to think about what I wanted in a dress...but it was completely uncharted territory and I really wasn't sure where to start. I tried on several traditional dresses at different bridal boutiques. They were objectively beautiful, but I didn't feel like me: I felt like I was in fancy dress. The gods were on my side the day I stumbled across Lucy's page on Instagram - I could not believe my eyes!! So off I went with bridesmaids and Mum in tow on a 300 mile round trip to Essex with a few of her designs in mind. Naturally I fell in love with a completely different one! It is such a leap of faith to trust someone to create your perfect dress from scratch and Lucy repaid my faith in her a million times over. When I put my Ziggy dress on on the morning of my wedding, I didn't feel like I was playing a bride. I felt like the very best version of myself, in the most beautiful and perfectly fitted dress I could ever hope to wear. And a dress I knew nobody else has ever had. All thanks to Lucy's vision and creativity, nestled away in little tropical paradise studio in the middle of Chelmsford - who knew!?!
