‘I had been browsing for wedding dresses for a while and hated all of the traditional stuff and as a plus size bride I was dreading the thought of going to a shop to try things on. I was actually just going to settle for a cheap high street one as I thought I would never be able to have the proper experience. And then an advert for Lucy Can’t Dance popped up on my Facebook feed. Lucy made me feel so comfortable each time I visited her studio and listened to everything I asked for. I cried many happy tears after my first visit to have my measurements taken as it was the first time in years that I had felt like my body wasn’t a problem. And then I cried more happy tears after I had picked the finished dress up. My wedding guests all told me how beautiful the colour was, how they knew I’d have something unique and had been so excited to see what. I had the perfect dress, a dress that was so very me and I cannot thank Lucy enough.’
