Director, Wedding Dress Designer
When I got engaged and was looking around for dresses I just couldn't find what I wanted in any shop or online. I knew I wanted lace, lots and lots of lace. I had pinned numerous beautiful 1960 dresses on Pinterest but nothing compared to them. (Little did i know what i would end up with would be 1,000,000 times better)
Lucy was a friend of an acquaintance and I saw her Facebook and her array of stunning, 1960s dresses and had to get in contact.
We sat down together and went through all my ideas and lucy went away and came back with everything I had wished for and more. She truly is a creative genius. On my day, I wished I could wear my dress every day because it absolutely was just perfect...

As soon as I found Lucy's website & went to meet her for the first time there was little question that I wanted my bridal gown to be from Lucy Can't Dance.
The whole experience has been perfect, I tried on some dresses from her beautiful collection & chose parts from a handful of different ones to suit my body shape. I was also able to choose the fabric myself from the gorgeous selection she had and Lucy found the perfect colour for the bottom.
Mrs Helen Lindley
Lucy was recommended to me by a friend as I was desperate for a vintage style dress for my wedding, but couldn't find the right dress to suit my budget. As soon as I met Lucy I knew I did not have to stress about my dress any longer.
Not only is she incredibly talented, she's also incredibly cool and made everything plain sailing. It had been a pleasure to work together with her , and she kept any of my anxieties at bay with her cool, but passionate, attitude. As I live the opposite side of the country, she would keep me up dated with designs and photos of material before I had an opportunity to go to Essex next and see the dress for myself. Any changes I had to make to the look (there weren't many!), I did not have to stress about offending her as I knew I can be honest about it all.
