"I saw a sneak preview of the “Jungle Dress” before it was launched on Lucy’s Instagram and new instantly it was the dress for me. I messaged Lucy to ask if it would be possible to make the dress even though it wasn’t officially on sale yet, in time for my wedding (which was only 3 months away!) and she was so accommodating and the dress arrived within plenty of time.

I fell in love with the leaf pattern in the lace and felt it perfectly represented my love for plants and all things green. I also loved the fact the dress has a modern look with a hippie/vintage twist – totally perfect for me. I have no idea what I would have worn on the day if I hadn’t of found this dress!

I didn’t get to try on the dress before I ordered so it was a huge gamble to order my wedding dress without trying it on first. I’m so glad I took the risk. The dress was an absolute dream to wear as was the service from Lucy.

"Lucy was recommended to me by a friend as I was desperate for a vintage style dress for my wedding, but couldn't find the perfect dress to fit my budget. As soon as I met Lucy I knew I didn't have to worry about my dress any more. Not only is she incredibly talented, she's also incredibly cool and so easy going. It was a pleasure to work with her, and she kept any of my anxieties at bay with her cool, but passionate, attitude. As I live the other side of the country, she would keep me up dated with designs and photos of fabric before I had a chance to visit Essex next and see the dress for myself. Any changes I had to make to the design (there weren't many!), I didn't have to worry about offending her as I knew I could be honest about it all.

I love how excited she was to make my dress, and she was so accommodating when I had any questions and in fittings.

I couldn't have dreamt for a more perfect dress. Everyone commented on how amazing it was on the big day. It was even better than I imagined! I'm positive that my friends and family spent more on my dress than I actually did, because of the amazing job Lucy did!

I've read a lot about brides who weren't that happy with their choices, mean dress makers and impractical dressers that prevent the bride from dancing or going to the toilet on their big day. That's all insane. I didn't have to worry about any of that; Lucy made sure I had enough room to carry out our jive-inspired first dance and my signature dance move; the running man.
