"My experience at Lucy Can't Dance was so smooth and just amazing. From the moment I walked into my first appointment to try on dresses in June 2022. Georgie was fantastic; she made me feel at ease and let me try on as many dresses as I wanted without feeling pressured or rushed. The shop itself was a total dream! I fell in love with the pink walls and disco balls, and the tropical vibes gave it such a unique and gorgeous atmosphere.
Unfortunately, a couple of my family members couldn't make it to the first appointment due to Covid, but the team at Lucy Can't Dance were super accommodating and booked a second appointment for us without any hassle so we could all come back together.
I was a bit nervous before the appointments since I don't usually enjoy being the centre of attention, but the comfortable and welcoming vibe put me at ease instantly.
One thing I loved about the was that there were so many different samples to try on in a diverse range of sizes. I never felt self-conscious when trying on the dresses – Georgie really made sure I felt comfortable and confident throughout.
Once I had decided on the dress of my dreams, Georgie took copious notes to ensure the team knew exactly what I wanted. The attention to detail gave me complete confidence that they would create something perfect for me. I had my measurements taken about 4 months before the wedding. Then, around 2 months before, I had my first fitting with Lucy, and it was such an exciting moment to see the dress come to life.
When the time came to collect my dress about 4 weeks before the wedding, I was so stoked. It was perfect and completely what I had envisioned in my head.I can’t recommend Lucy Can’t Dance enough – they are so amazing, and so highly skilled at what they do.
It was the most perfect day, and I had so many people commenting on my dress and saying it was the nicest dress they had ever seen....I'm sure everyone says that at a wedding, but I'm going to take it as true on this occasion haha ☺. I felt so comfortable and happy all day wearing the dress and it even survived pretty unscathed from the ceilidh dancing!"
